In order to provide a payroll service to the self-employed, and to comply with current employment and tax legislation, Insides is required to collect and store certain personal information.This includes, but is not limited to information such as your contact details, bank account and transaction information, National Insurance number, VAT number, and home address. Information is collected via the Insides Payroll Website.
Your personal information may also be used to provide support and guidance and from time to time to offer you additional services and information from Insides.
Any data entered via online forms/surveys, or directly into your Insides account is protected with SSL Encryption Certificates (secure socket layer technology) issued by aleading certificate authority. This ensures all data transferred between users and our systems is encrypted.
By providing your personal data, you agree to the transfer, storing and, or processing of it in accordance with this privacy policy.

Storage and Protection of your personal data

All your data is held within the Insides system, which operates on a secure system. We maintain strict security standards and procedures with a view to preventing unauthorised access to your data by anyone, including our staff. We use leading technologies such as (but not limited to) data encryption, firewalls, virus checking and anti-spyware programs, server authentication, user profiles and passwords to protect the security of your data.
Regular staff training on data protection and privacy ensures that staff are fully aware of their responsibilities in regards to the protection of your personal data.

Data within your Insides Account

The Insides account holder is ultimately responsible for administering and safeguarding the usernames and passwords used to access your Insides account. You should log out of your account after you have finished any given session, especially if you are on a public computer.
Read only access to your Insides account is available to specific staff members but is strictly controlled by passwords and IP address restrictions. The use of this access is for assisting with the system, and offering support when necessary.

Collection of Non Personally-Identifiable Information

When using our websites Insides collects the following information to help us gather statistics and improve performance.This information cannot be used to identify you individually:
IP addresses: every computer connected to the Internet is provided with a domain name (e.g. earthlink.net) and an IP Address (e.g. 192.164.13.145). When a visitor requests a page from within the Insides website, our Web Servers automatically identify and log the HTTP request that is made to our Web Server.We collect IP information in order to administer our website and gather statistics to improve performance.
Cookies: cookies are tiny text files stored on your computer when you visit a website and cannot harm your computer.Cookies cannot look into your computer to obtain personally identifiable information or read information on your hard drive. Insidesdoes not use cookies.

Monitoring and Recording Telephone calls

Occasionally we may record incoming and outgoing telephone calls for training and monitoring purposes.This helps us to maintain a high standard of service and resolve problems.
